You Saw Them Where?: Arctic Monkeys

So, I was having trouble finding appearances of Arctic Monkeys music in TV shows, movies, whatever, so I decided to do a post instead about TV appearances. Here is where you may have seen the Arctic Monkeys play…
- UK Television Appearances: Popworld on October 15, 2005, E4 Music, and Later with Jools Holland on October 28, 2005.
- Gonzo on Tour: An MTV 2 show that featured footage from Arctic Monkeys’ gigs. It appeared on TV first on November 12, 2005, and the gig was in Liverpool.
- Saturday Night Live: This is when I first saw Arctic Monkeys, on March 11, 2006. They played “I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor” and “A Certain Romance.” They were also very sassy people, naughty as always.
- USA Talk Show Appearances: The band has performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live and Late Night with Conan O’Brien.
- Later: A BBC Two show, Later featured three songs from their new album, Favourite Worst Nightmare.
- Other BBC Appearances: BBC Two and Three both showed the Glastonbury Festival, where Arctic Monkeys played.
- Like “Fluorescent Adolescent?”: You may have seen them perform it on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross on July 6, 2007. They dressed up like clowns, which would make sense to you if you saw Chris Cullari’s video earlier in the week, since the costumes coincided with what they wore in the music video.
