Tour Date Thursday: Say Anything
This may be the saddest first Tour Date Thursday I could possibly have, but I wanted everyone to know that touring bands will in fact have a Tour Date Thursday page.
Unfortunately, Say Anything has no tour dates planned in the upcoming future, being busy with their new CD work and all, but there is one place they’re going to be real soon…
Thursday, June 28th at Summerfest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin: Say Anything will be opening for Jack’s Mannequin on the Summerfest grounds at 9pm. You can find them on the U.S. Cellular Connection Stage with Leinenkugel’s and FM 102.1 (Phew, long stage name!)
If you don’t know about Summerfest, or have never been, you should definitely go to either see Say Anything or just to go in general. It’s the world’s largest music festival and it’s in Milwaukee, which is my backyard. I’ve gone countless years and it’s a great event for anyone who likes any kind of music. Trust me, you can find it at Summerfest.
Dates of Summerfest: June 28-July 8 2007
In order to go to Summerfest, you need to buy a ticket to get on the grounds and then all the shows are free except for the ones on the main stage, the Marcus Amphitheater. All in all, it can be a pretty affordable outing, but believe me, the food and drink prices will murder you. If you asked me, I’d say it was worth it just to see one of your favorite bands for free.
