- I Know: “I know why I like you/It’s ’cause of your clothing and your haircut/And ’cause you’re racist.” Pretty sure when an upbeat song has opening lyrics such as these, it can only be one of two things: Either complete trash, or comic gold. I’d like to say that this was the former, but I’m not sure that everyone’s inclined to agree with me. Whatever, I think it’s a really funny song, another I used to walk to a lot, and definitely worth a listen.
- Alcohol: “Alcohol, my permanent accessory/Alcohol, a party time necessity/Alcohol, alternative to feeling like yourself/Oh, alcohol, I still drink to your health.” Mmm, that’s good satire. There is nothing that isn’t fun about this song, except for the fact that it would make you a little self-conscious about your own drinking practices. Besides that, it’s a rollicking good time and a look into self-control practices.
- Crazy: “I’m feeling short of a load but it’s always been hurtin’ my back/I flew over the coocoo’s nest and I’m never ever coming back.” Finally, a song that turns crazy into a good thing. It’s the way I’ve always seen it, but it makes you feel better to hear crazy supported via song. No joke.
