New Artist: Teddybears

Name of Artist: Teddybears
Sound: Well, any sound you’re in the mood for, I guess? Every track of music by Teddybears is different, all electronic, but some are influenced by reggae, some punk, some hip-hop, so chances are, you’ll find a song you like. Songs like “Yours to Keep” are much sweeter, a good summer love dance ballad, and others like “Cobrastyle” are just get-up-and-dance-like-nobody’s-watching numbers. A good word for it? Cornucopia. I just really wanted to be able to say “cornucopia” in a blog, just once. Thanks, Teddybears, for helping me accomplish this feat.

You May Remember Them From Such Songs As…: Well, Soft Machine was their U.S. debut, and “Cobrastyle” got a decent amount of play, including in the preview for Employee of the Month, so that may be familiar to you. “Yours to Keep,” “Different Sound,” and “Punkrocker” were all songs I remember being introduced to via my old radio station gig, so yeah, you’ve probably heard at least one of those. Yep.
Next Performance: Right now, nothing is available, sadly. I know. I’m crying as well. I wanted to feature them anyway, however, since they are ridiculously cool.
